Rations MP on holiday in Lombok

Alan Duncan the man whose lawn was dug up, who invited the man who did it to the House of Commons is on holiday in Lombok with his partner.

In an exclusive resort, and paying at least £10000 for the holiday. No wonder he feels that he is on rations. Ever thought about living within your means and mixing with the little people Alan?

Oh that would never do would it? Can't possibly bump into a constituent on holiday It would mean that you couldn't escape from work. Being an MP isn't about shirking and avoiding your constituents its about working for them and being their representative 365 days of every year that they vote you in for.

Not to mention your carbon footprint for the whole trip. Not very green are we, yet your party is known as "progressive" Yeah and the rest. You don't fool me.

Actions speak louder than words ever can.

You sir are a disgrace.

Along with the other 642 members in the house who are just like you. There are a few exceptions.

After all you aren't needed anymore, everything is rubber stamped when it comes from the EU on high. If the masses ever found out you would be lynched.

What do the Weimar Republic, Zimbabwe and now Great Britain have in common?

For anyone struggling with the correct answer, may I point you to Guido's excellent post and comments, from today

Alistair Darling( luvvie) may have said that we are not going to print more money but that is a lie, he means hes going to turn a blind eye if more is printed.

They are changing a law that has been around for over 164 years

I shall quote a bit

The Government is set to throw out the 165-year old law that obliges the Bank to publish a weekly account of its balance sheet – a move that will allow it theoretically to embark covertly on so-called quantitative easing. The Banking Bill, which is currently passing through Parliament, abolishes a key section of the law laid down by Robert Peel's Government in 1844 which originally granted the Bank the sole right to print UK money.

... Debating the issue in the House of Lords recently, Lord James of Blackheath, a Conservative peer, said: "Remove [this] control and there is nothing to stop an unreported and unmonitored flooding of the money market by the undisciplined use of the printing presses. If we went down that path we would be following a road which starts in Weimar, goes on through Harare and must not end in Westminster and London. That is the great fear that the abolition of that section will bring about – but the Bill abolishes it."

Robert Peel the same man who established the police force and why a colloquial term for the police is the Peelers

Yet the government lies to you hand over fist ( tip you can tell when Gordon does it He cackles with laughter)

Another person who comments on Guidos post says that he predicts war

I support that prediction The war that 1984 ( the book) has is going to become real.

Im going to try and persuade my elderly parents to invest in gold bullion rather than have paper money in their savings accounts.

It might mean that they enjoy whats left of their retirement rather than fall prey to the five billion pound note issued on December 21 2012.....
Repent
The end of the world is nigh ....

I mean in Eschatological terms the death of Wedgwood as an industry and it going into administration when it was one of the first companies of the Industrial revolution , is a portent of doom

Burning our money

This first appeared as a guest blog on NHS Exposed

It seems Lancashire care trust can't do anything right, Just literally months after trying to refer me to the GMC for failing mental health for reporting against a narcissistic sociopath known as Dr Hissy Fit, the clinical lead of North Lancashire which includes Blackpool and who would have been instrumental in authorising the expenditure of the latest fall from grace at Lancashire as this report from the Blackpool gazette shows

The trust at Lancashire is facing a recruitment problem as far as psychiatrists are concerned especially in the new Specialty doctor posts, for which they are handing over £80 pounds per hour to locum agencies for the privilege of having their posts filled.

Hardly surprising with a sociopath as their clinical lead.

Three of the trust's Early Intervention Service staff - one from Blackpool - attended the 6th International Conference on Early Psychosis in Melbourne.

As well as getting the chance to rub shoulders with fellow mental health professionals the Lancashire trio were invited to enjoy a full social programme including food and fine wines from around the world and even trips around Melbourne on a Harley Davidson.

Lancashire Care Trust bosses have defended the trip, stating it was a useful fact-finding exercise.

But Michael Jack, MP for Fylde, today said: "I can't believe the trust needed to send anybody to Australia to improve their medical practices.

"The amount spent seems disproportionate to the potential gain, and their explanation very sparse. Have they not heard of video link?

"This is another suggestion NHS organisations need more rigorous regulation of expenditure and this should be investigated."

Lancashire Care Trust's Early Intervention Service, established in 2002, is currently treating around 65 people in Blackpool – more in the wider North Lancashire area – and sees around 26 new patients each year.

A spokesman for the Trust said: "Lancashire Care funded three members of the early intervention service to attend this conference.

"Staff flew out on economy flights and stayed in standard rooms in the Holiday Inn. The total cost for each member of staff which includes flights, visas, accommodation, meals, travel to and from the airport and attending the conference was £2,885 each.

One does wonder because I remember as junior doctor being allocated only £500 for study leave. Seems some people are more equal than others.

Fools and their Money

I talk of course about the Iphone...Link here

Of course if you wait another month you can go over to France where it will no doubt be cheaper and completely unlocked and capable of receiving updates from Apple with no problems later on.

Plus my father remarked quite sensibly that it would be an act of complete folly to buy one just now.

Why? Because every mugger, drug addict, rapscallion rascal, pickpocket out there on the street if they see you using one will target you. They are the new must have thing and I'm sure the criminal fraternity is checking out who bought the damn thing to see who they can nick it off.

After all why pay for something that's so easily nicked?

Who pays the Ferryman?

The flood waters are rising here in South Yorkshire where I am currently and the reservoir that was built in 1874 is threatening to burst.

Honestly you would have thought that since last year they would have built or tried to improve things since we had a hosepipe ban but no.

Private water companies means cost cutting and who suffers? the ordinary people, first a drought and now the flood...

86000 homes in the region lost electricity and the M1 is shut less than five miles from the parents. This is the busiest section of Motorway in the country and even Meadowhall shopping centre ( Meadowhell) is shut due to flooding.

One months rain fell over a couple of days and guess what the flood defences broke hardly surprising but there was no provision for bad weather ; people were taken by surprise.

Just dont buy your house on a flood plain folks.....

Pasty Hewitt says closing beds is a good thing

Yeah right! Soon there'll be no beds left Will that be good too? Something along the lines of the Emperor's new clothes? People express sympathy when I tell them I work for the NHS but its not their sympathy that I need, no its their vote because their vote is the only thing that can stop this country going straight down the plughole.

Already she has made 7000 doctors unemployed who will be booking their flights to Australia and New Zealand in July and who probably are so hacked off with MTAS and the government that they'll never come back so she has just wasted about 2 billion pounds of taxpayers money just to balance the books this year along with all the hospital closures because the NHS must balance its books! Why? Its a service it doesn't actually need to balance its bloody books it needs to provide a service

Why this government and the previous governments of Margaret and Major sought to make it into a business is quite clear, they wished to privatise it in one foul swoop.

There is no legislation to prevent NHS trusts from independently becoming private organisations.... Does that surprise you? Margaret Thatcher did that and what she didn't do this government is hell bent on finishing off.

Lets be very clear about this, Why should politicians who are sackable by vote actually try to do things which they know will end up in them being voted out?

Something is rotten in the state of Denmark ... as they say
