Interest Rate cut to 1.5% Lowest ever since 1694

The Bank of England in its own admission has lowered interest rates to 1.5 % the lowest since the Bank was formed by wealthy landowners back in 1694.

The Bank of England was once a private institution ( probably still is; Who actually knows who owns this bank?) unless it also was nationalised in 1947 along with all the other companies in that year.

How they think lower interest rates will boost the economy in the face of all that is going on and billionaires killing themselves, in Germany, ( just an aside) is beyond me

Plus the fact that Brown wants to print more money as I posted yesterday. We are going to be in a situation where we are going to be in a Zimbabwe, or a Germany between the wars very soon

What does the Bank think its doing? Or is this a government sponsored effort to importune all our money and kill off sterling and make way for paperless currency so that we can all be chipped and IDed and made in to serfs for the state and that we proletarians will become indentured servants to the Patrician people who have power at their disposal?

I read about this on conspiracy websites, almost 6 years ago and thought oh dear will it come to pass

More ID card nonsense

For once and only once today I find myself agreeing with David Cameron. Gordon Brown wants the ID cards but David wants border police.

As I have mentioned before ID cards are the route to slavery and I shall be forced to leave this sceptred isle if they come in for I wont want to live here anymore when I can be tracked by whatever I do outside my house.

Scootersafe

Went on a Scootersafe day today. Most enjoyable fun I've had on a bike to date. Amazing how the traffic behaves when you have a police motorbike with you. The power of riding with the police. Really enjoyed myself and on a natural high from it all. Makes me more likely to take the practical part of the motorcycle test in May or June of this year.

Next weekend I get to play with a mini JCB to dig over my allotment Im beginning to like heavy machinery....

Pity I cant drive in to parliament square and remove the concrete blocks round parliament

By the way those concrete blocks are not for the blockage of terrorists, they are for preventing the populace from revolution and revolt and storming parliament because our so called elected representatives with less than 50% of the electorate are making such crazy decisions about our future that they realise if they aren't protected we'll just run them down.
