How many economists does it take to miss the elephant in the room?
Sixty who back Labour
The biggest spending cut that would not affect how we live in the UK would be to cut all funding to the EU
To leave the EU would immediately make the public finances better. They are currently haemorrhaging funds from the public purse straight to Brussels.
The economists have blinkers on.
Would these be the economists who said that nobody could have seen the financial crisis coming?
ReplyDeleteEconomics is largely a human 'sciences' field - a study of the effects that human behaviour has on the markets and the economy. Labour's understanding/respect for the natural leanings of mankind has never been strong. Perhaps that's why lef-leaning economists fail so miserably.
