One of my Favourite pieces of Music plus some of the bits of this blog you might not have read
Music Box Dancer by Frank Mills, I chose this version because of the sound quality
I first heard it in Canada when I went on elective ( Dermatology) in Vancouver in 1994
I blog about my health and my diet and my troubles with bullying on my other blog which is Musings of the Medic Its on my bloglist
Ive heard that the GMC are sniffing around the blogs, that some doctors write well I have a DPA request going in and if you are sniffing and you do have this next to my name well I shall have you if you dont reveal it. Breaking the DPA is a criminal offence and just because you are the GMC doesn't make you immune to the law such as it is.
I was searching through Google today, as you do and found some comments I left last year and the year before that
It may interest some people that I am mentioned in Out of The Tunnel by Rachel North pages 184-185 if anyone seriously wants to look
The best way to understand why I have spent the last two years blogging on and off is to read the first post of my blog. It sort of explains things
It also tells you that I am opposed to terrorism, in all its guises.
I will post up controversial material here though, I make no excuse for that
I also post up interesting things like this post about Baileys Irish Cream
It seems things have gone from bad to worse regarding Gordon Brown
This was going to be a short post but it seems to have taken on a life of its own
Enjoy the music

Seven Good Things Tag
Rachel from North London has tagged me so I must do the necessary
Seven good things
1. Low carb diets that show results in less than three weeks Namely the idiot proof diet by India Knight and Neris Thomas( ps If you get a spike in sales I want commission)
2.Friends who help you out in your hour of need and don't judge you.
3. Lidl because without Lidl ordinary people would never come home with cheap useful quality stuff( and Aldi and Netto to a degree) and yes I want commission if Lidl starts selling out because I need stuff too.
4. Concrete raft foundations for making earthquakes easier to cope with.
5. Omega 3 fish oil in high concentration on prescription
6. Celeriac for being the most versatile vegetable on the bloody planet and being low in carbs to boot
7. The ability to glean wild food from the planet without it costing you a penny.

Earthquake!
An earthquake has hit much of England this morning just before 100 GMT as the BBC relates here.
The earthquake epicentre was in Lincolnshire by Market Rasen. It measured 5.3 on the Richter scale.
The tremor was felt as far away as London.
I actually am in South Yorkshire at present and my parents felt the earthquake whereas I simply slept through it as I am oft to do having slept through an earthquake that was 8.3 on the Richter scale when I was in India in 1983 in Amritsar when the epicentre was in Afghanistan.
There was actually an aftershock at 1.8 on the Richter scale at 4 am which is when the clock fell off the stand and that woke me up then, but not before but I did wonder why it had fallen off and couldn't at that time reason it. My photos had also fallen down and it was only when I heard the news that I thought aha! that's the reason why.
Apologies to my regular readers, normal service will resume soon and I will do the tag that Rachel has tagged me with very soon.

Langham Freed
The actor put in jail for downloading pornography has had his sentence cut and will be out later today. As Rachel has said just being in possession of things doesn't necessarily mean that you are wicked and vile and I would agree with her here.

Second Anniversary
Today is the second anniversary of James's death.
Before finding out about his death I had thought och the bombs don't affect me, they're something that happened to central London nothing to do with me. How wrong I was.
The rest of 2005 was a journey both to connect with the other people in that tube train that morning one of whom was Rachel and the KCU group that she set up which helped greatly to assauge my feelings of guilt and shock and also to find out the details of his last journey.
Life changing stuff and a realisation that everyone is affected by terrorist bombs as people who knew me from before suddenly realised that even they had a connection to those bombings through me, the ripples do indeed get to the farthest shores.
I am indebted to a certain family liaison officer for helping me to move on in the May of last year such that the first anniversary came and went without me even realising it as I was so busy with work I didnt have time to even think about it much.
It is only now that I feel able to write about it and share it with an unsuspecting world.
Life goes on and with it we remember our memories and take comfort and move on.

Racism in the Big Brother House
Following on from a comment I made on Rachelnorthlondon's blog. Racism exists and if a 19yr old student can mention racist words one does rather wonder where she got it from.
Colour bias doesn't normally rear its ugly head that much but did she not realise that she would be filmed and anything uttered from her mouth would be recorded? She was in the Big Brother House!
Thing is we'll never know how deep it lies with her, She's been kicked out and rightly so. Lets consider for a moment that if she is like this how many other blonde nineteen year old girls and boys ( not that being blonde is anything to go by) hold the same words in their heads and don't use them publically but think that?
It comes back to where divisions lie in society. Pushing through more terror laws is going to polarise society rather than bring it together as it is state sponsored paranoia of the unknown terrorist.
In a sense we have let the terrorists win because our way of life has had to change.
