The Comeback Kid or How the Emperor truly has no clothes.

I decided to come back.  Much is happening in the political world and having taken a break out for personal reasons it is now the time for me to come back, limber up those fingers and start fisking the political lies that are put to us daily in the name of the EU, and in the name of the government.

For example we have had savage cuts recently but surprise surprise the foreign aid budget has gone up,  It is now more than the income tax take.

One wonders if inflation has affected the bribes that need to be handed out in several foreign governments.

Henry is back

First of all , let me apologise to those of you who were gagging to read my blog whilst Ive been in self imposed exile. Those in the GMC and CHRE can go kiss my ass, I couldn't give a brass farthing ( though I am reliably told that they are now worth £37 on the market)

Many things have happened, some of which my friends and some others are aware of and as a result of which blogging took a backseat so I shut the blog down for the time being.

It turned out to be almost 6 months which is normally the kiss of death for blogs so we'll see what happens to the reading figures.

Anyway I shall be here from time to time, blogging may reach the height of crescendo with a couple of blog posts a day but dont hold your breath It takes a bit of time to crack those knuckles and get back to fast typing when you havent been doing it regularly.

Stat Pron July

Its that time again

I thank my readers for tuning in and having a good laugh and perhaps getting some libertarian ideas.

Blog Second Anniversary

This blog is two years old today. It has been a long road, and I have travelled it, and made lots of new friends and strengthened some old friendships along the way. It has opened new directions, and opened my eyes to the world. I have opened my eyes to the internet, embraced twitter recently, used facebook and widgetbox, managed to make a facebook app, and at one point even had the ability to text message the blog to mobile phones. It has made me aware of other bloggers, politics, the state of the world and brought me closer to new technologies.

I want to extend my regards to those of you who have helped, commented, visited, and helped me in my quest and engaged me in discussion and shown me different things in which to extend and explore further within the blogosphere and beyond.

To my readership which has been global, I want to thank you for coming here and for those who follow me a big vote of thanks for encouraging me.

Happy 2nd Blogiversary.

Im supposed to be blogging more frequently

Well its been a whole month since I shared my thoughts with you.

What can I say Its been busy and its been wet outside.

I still havent got back into the blogging though, seems that now Im well off and not worrying about money I cant be bothered to sound off and blog about the injustices of life

However I shall try to come back and blog again.... Several times I have taken photos with the express thought I can put these on my blog and then in the cold light of the next morning havent had the time or the energy or the remembrance to dc it.

So here I am at the end of another month promising lots and delivering not very much I guess

Happy Blogiversary

It is exactly one year since I started blogging. It also happens to be the 60th death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

As I look back over the year it has been a strange year but one in which I have made new friends in the blogosphere, and generally improved my chances of having a life outside of Medicine with the blog, Facebook and most recently Second Life.

There is no substitute for meeting real people but with the advent of Skype I can talk to my far flung friends in Australia for nothing and spend as much time talking as I like.

I have also made a dear friend of a blogger in Belgium and she knows who she is

All in all alls well that ends well but theres still some way to go yet.

Life throws up new challenges and crises and we have to deal with them and it is ok to make a retreat and then come back and deal with things later.

I have had the gift of time and no pressure to go back to work which has been a tremendous help and I thank all the people over the last year who have made my journey a better one.

As for the blogging I shall be back to daily posts from tomorrow

It has been good to have your readership and long may it continue

Henry

Blogging will return on Sunday

Sorry but events have caught up and I need to go outside and get a life so blogging may not occur till Sunday. There may be a post here and there but not until Sunday will there be anything substantial.

I would like to thank my regular visitor from Hong Kong who comes here at three in the morning and my other regular visitors from the USA and the UK and Europe and the rest of the world for being regular supporters and readers and will look forward to your next visits.

Thanks

Henry

Blessings to everyone

Blogging will return after Diwali and Tikka

Sorry folks but there'll be no fresh posts until after the Indian New year.
There's plenty in the archives and I suggest you start with January 2007 as a very good starting point as to why I started this blog in the first place.

Also Musings will give you a more personal account of how I've been feeling recently.

Happy Divali and Happy New Year and Happy Tikka

I warned you that blogging would be infrequent didn't I?

Summer Holiday

I will be taking a short break from posting. Mostly because I want to start on my first novel and I keep getting ideas and not acting on them because I think about the blog first.

I will post from time to time but there should be plenty in the archives to keep you busy.
